The AMG division of Mercedes-Benz has created a yellow prototype called the SLS AMG E-CELL, an electric version of their gullwing sports car that features a zero-emission high-tech drive.
After going on sale in some GCC countries, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing was officially unveiled in Kuwait recently.
Hot on the heels of the SLS AMG, Mercedes-Benz has now revealed a GT3 race-ready variant of their flagship sports car. This racing version of the gullwing model was developed to comply with FIA GT3 specifications, and designed as a racing sports car for customers competing in sprints and long-distance races.

The Gullwing is back in a new form, paying homage to the original 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL. But the 2010-2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is supposed to be a supercar for everyday use, ditching McLaren in favour of in-house development by AMG.
Mercedes-Benz has revealed that they are working on a new supercar called the SLS AMG. Announced at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show, the German manufacturer has confirmed that the car will feature gullwing doors similar to the classic 1950s 300SL, which eventually evolved into today’s SL-Class.
