Long-term update: Nissan Patrol serviced without visiting dealer

Due to the pandemic, every car dealer around is claiming that you can buy or service your car while sitting at home, without actually giving any real details about whether you can actually buy a car with a 100% credit card payment or if they will come service your car for free under your house. We recently did multiple runs to the Mopar service centre due to never-ending warranty issues and there was no sign of any such home service. Then we caught wind of a Facebook ad by the Nissan dealer, advertising “free Thursday pick and drop” service, so we decided to try that out because we absolutely hate wasting time on car servicing.

2020 Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition revealed

To celebrate 50 years since the launch of the first GT-R, Nissan has released a GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition package. The package offers three “heritage” exterior colour schemes – blue with white stripes, pearl white with red stripes and silver with white stripes. The colours are inspired from the KPGC10-based race cars. The “Bayside Blue” is the first time Nissan is offering the famous blue shade from the R34 Skyline GT-R model on the R35.

A couple of months ago, if you remember (before the whole debacle over Nissan’s CEO pay in Japan that has nothing to do with the products), some new variants of the Patrol Y61 were launched just for the GCC, joining the Patrol Super Safari that debuted a year earlier. We actually drove some of these new models, marking our first time properly driving a Y61 after all these decades in the UAE.
