BMW Group and Toyota Motor Corporation are pursuing their “strategic long-term cooperation” in the field of “sustainable mobility” by recently signing agreements to collaborate for the joint development of a fuel cell system, architecture, lightweight technologies, and more interestingly, components for a new sports car.
Rumours persist that Toyota wants to bring back its iconic sports car, the Supra. Not to be mistaken with company’s upcoming model, FT-86, the plan was initially to release both side by side, although now it looks like it will possibly happen further down the line.
So our modified Toyota Supra Twin Turbo is in the hands of a capable new owner now. Its duties as a benchmark sports car have now been taken over by our BMW M Roadster.
